Created in 2013, the Power 2 Inspire Foundation (a 501c3) has been committed to helping young aspiring music creators and industry leaders and business leaders rise to their highest self.

The Power 2 Inspire (P2I) Mentorship and Internship Program is dedicated to developing the next generation of Black and Brown music creators and music business leaders. Twenty-six hand-picked, creatively talented mentees [age 18-24] will receive a four-week virtual experience to learn the ropes from professional music producers, singers/songwriters and music label executives. Mentees will get a front row ‘digital’ view of what it takes to succeed in the music industry, and complete projects under the tutelage of mentors from across the United States and abroad.

People of color have transformed culture and society through music since the beginning of time. It is more important than ever that the music business equip young musicians and music professionals with opportunities to lead and excel. We believe that by granting mentees with access and exposure, they will be equipped with the experience and relationships needed to succeed in the music business.
Applications to apply for the P2I Mentorship/Internship Program will go live on our website on Monday, June 29, 2020 at 9:00 AM EST. The application submission period ends Monday, July 20, 2020 at 5:00 PM EST. The virtual mentorship program will take place in August 2020.
To the next generation,
